Sábado foi dia da criança e nós rumámos até à aldeia para um almoço em família. Já lá não íamos desde a Páscoa. Apesar de tímida, a Primavera chegou e as flores alegram o caminho com as suas cores fortes e cheiro intenso. Buganvílias, sardinheiras e até alguns morangos pontuam de vermelho as paredes brancas de cal.
Last Saturday, on Children’s Day, we went to our country house for a family lunch. We have not been there since Easter. Spring has arrived and brought lovely flowers with their strong colors and great perfume. Bougainvillea, geraniums and some strawberries in red tones dot the white limestone walls.

E cá estou de volta para a azáfama do dia-a-dia após umas mini-férias de Páscoa pelo campo. É tão bom fugir da rotina… No sábado à tarde aproveitámos os tímidos raios de sol para dar um passeio por Santarém. Rumámos até às Portas do Sol e por ali andámos, a brincar no parque com as crianças e a apreciar as vistas da Lezíria inundada pelo Tejo. Ainda não se vêem flores, com excepção das olaias que já estão cobertas por um manto beringela que dá um colorido muito bonito à paisagem. Não resisti e tirei algumas fotografias para partilhar convosco.
Here I am back from a peaceful break in the countryside from day to day bustle. It is so nice to get away from it ... On Saturday afternoon we took advantage of the timid rays of sunshine and went for a walk by Santarém. We went to Portas do Sol park and we stay there for a while, playing with the children and enjoying the sight of flooded fields by Tagus river. Although it is already spring the only flowers we saw were the redbud trees flowers with their beautiful, eye catching purple-pink color. I couldn’t resist taking some pictures and share them with you!

Comemore a (quase) chegada da Primavera enchendo a casa de flores. Utilize as jarras que tem guardadas no armário e faça uma composição de jarras e flores, colocando-as sobre uma mesa ou cómoda.
Celebrate the return of spring filling your house with beautiful arrangements of spring flowers. Use vases that you have stored in the closet and make an arrangement of fresh flowers, placing them on a table or dresser.
Em alternativa às jarras aproveite garrafas e/ou frascos que já não usa e dê-lhes uma nova vida, pintando-os ou cobrindo-os com papel colorido. Se tiverem formatos diferentes, opte por utilizar as mesmas cores e padrões. Esta uniformização irá criar harmonia visual, sem perder o toque divertido e irreverente e toda a autenticidade de ter sido feito por si!
